Jeff Magyar

Soybean Farmer

Jeff Magyar farms 3,000 acres of food grade soybeans, corn, oats and hay at Magyar Farms. Jeff currently serves on USB, the Soy Nutritional Institute (SNI), Airable Lab Chairman, Ohio Soybean Council, Ohio Soybean Association, Ashtabula County Port Authority, and Ashtabula County Farm Bureau. As an experienced soybean enthusiast, Jeff spends a lot of time nationally and internationally promoting U.S. Soybeans to buyers and enjoys working with legislators to address farming issues.

As a U.S. farmer, I’m very happy to work with the Japanese Soy Milk Exchange to promote the use of high-quality, sustainably produced, North American soybeans. Through my experience exporting U.S. beans to Japan, I’ve learned that U.S. soybeans are the best quality, highest protein, most sustainably produced soybeans in the world. I am proud to share my experiences as a Founding Member of the JSME and I believe this will be a great opportunity for U.S. farmers and consumers alike.
